På vårdagjämningen infaller Världsberättardagen – World Storytelling Day. Den instiftades vid Ljungbys första berättarfestival 1990 (rätta mig om du vet bättre). Varje års tema beslutas i en internationell förslagprocess. Här ser du några tidigare teman:

FEST wants to motivate all FEST members to set up small local events to celebrate World Storytelling Day, around March 20th 2019. These can be oral Storytelling performances as well as applied storytelling activities with certain target groups (refugees, immigrants, youngsters, …).
 
In order to promote World Storytelling Day, and share resources by and for storytellers, we are calling for events for WSD on the theme Myths, Legends and Epics!
