Koppsele is a unique place. Across the county of Västerbotten , there have been hundreds of forest Sami settlements. Of all these, only one has been preserved – Koppsele. To understand the Sami history, it is important to be able to see and feel the living conditions that Sami people had. In Koppsele you can do that. We are delighted to welcome you and share some of our culture in a place where cultural encounters occurred from the Stone Age to the present.
11:30 Walk with stories & Joiks on the Sami culture. Jörgen Stenberg
Nesting sites, migration routes and the resting places of holy goddesses. An old Sami landscape is a place rich in interest and history.
